Financial Assistance for Families
For 17 months, our life ran between home and Rochester. Lincoln had 115 chemotherapy infusions and 31 radiation treatments, and during one stretch we lived at the Ronald McDonald House for six weeks straight. We know what that does to a family — the gas money, the nights away from home, the work you miss, and the bills that keep arriving anyway.
Lincoln's Legacy provides direct financial assistance to families in the middle of a pediatric medical journey. We help with the costs that pile up when a child is in treatment, so a family can be present for their child without carrying that weight alone.
We can help with expenses like:
- Travel and lodging for treatment
- Prescriptions and medical costs insurance won't cover
- Rent, mortgage, and utilities
- Groceries and everyday essentials
- Lost wages from time away from work
