Our mission
Lincoln's Legacy, Inc. exists to provide financial assistance to families facing pediatric medical journeys, and to provide funding for pediatric cancer research.
Lincoln Luck was diagnosed with embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma at 21 months old and fought it for 17 months before passing away on January 9, 2026, at the age of three. In that time we learned two things we can't unlearn: what a medical journey costs a family, and what happens when a child's cancer is rare enough that the treatments run out. We provide direct financial support to families in the middle of a pediatric medical journey — the travel, the lodging, the bills that don't pause when a child is in treatment. Support is available to any family facing a pediatric medical journey, confirmed through their hospital. See if we can help →
We fund pediatric cancer research. Lincoln's tumor carried two genetic mutations that made it resistant to the standard treatments for his type of cancer. We tried four different chemotherapy regimens, and in the end there simply wasn't a treatment that could stop it. No family should hear that there are no options left because their child's cancer is too rare — funding research is how that changes.

Contributions to Lincoln's Legacy go toward helping families through a child's medical journey and funding pediatric cancer research. Lincoln's Legacy, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3), and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
